ABSTRACT

Tax evasion in the country and specifically in the city of Trujillo, is part of our idiosyncrasies, to assume responsibility for paying taxes, as well as high unemployment, which is why we see all the way to overcome the many hawkers in the different markets we sell our town numerous articles, in many cases of smuggling and also we have to dodge buses owned by 60% to informal committees, others who wear clothes and textiles from workshops that do not contribute to the payment of taxes.
Also the marketing of shoes, among other activities that cause the reduction of the tax base and thereby prevent a sustainable financing of public goods and social protection, on the other informal businesses are becoming a booming economy that can attract workers and foster unequal competition with formal enterprises. Here we express through a general analysis that this informality is endowed by excessive regulation, high tax rates and limited control of the state allow the expensive cost of legality. So the decision to participate or not in the informal sector due to a cost-benefit analysis which leads to many individuals and firms are forced to resort to the informal sector as an alternative or option.
